Introduction
The Admin tab in the Keywords module of Brilliance CRM is used to configure internal alerts and customize the appearance of the auto-generated QR code linked to the keyword.
It’s split into two functions:
- Subscriber Notifications – Alert staff when new subscribers join
- QR Code Appearance Settings – Control styling and output for QR downloads
How to Get Here
- Go to Communication > Keywords
- Click Edit or + Add New on a keyword
- Navigate to the Admin tab
Notification Settings
Field | Description |
New Subscriber Email | Enter an email address to notify when a new subscriber opts in via this keyword |
New SMS Email | Phone number or address for SMS notifications (if provider supports email-to-text) |
New Subscriber Message (toggle) | Enables or disables sending email notification when someone subscribes |
New SMS Message (toggle) | Enables or disables sending an SMS alert to your team when someone subscribes |
Use this for: Notifying your sales or support team in real-time when a keyword is triggered.
QR Code Appearance Controls
Field | Description |
Image Width / Height | Set the size of the QR code in pixels |
Image Type | Choose format for the QR file: SVG, PNG, JPEG |
Image URL | (Optional) Use a hosted image if overriding default |
Image (Upload) | Upload a local image for QR code preview/customization |
Delete Image (toggle) | Clears the uploaded image |
Style Settings:
Style | Purpose |
Background Color | Background of the QR code (e.g., white, transparent) |
Dot Type | Shape of the QR dots (Square, Circle, etc.) |
Dot Color | Color of the main dots |
Corner Dot Type / Color | Controls for styling the three corner points |
Corner Border Type / Color | Style and color for borders around the corner dots |
Image Margin | Adjust space around the image inside the QR code |
Tip: These styling options are perfect for embedding QR codes in branded materials while maintaining a consistent look and feel.
Expected Result
When configured and saved:
- Admins will receive real-time alerts when someone triggers the keyword (if toggles are ON)
- A custom-styled QR code will be generated/downloadable under the General tab when Download QR Code is enabled and settings are saved
Best Practices
- Use SVG for crisp, scalable QR output (best for print)
- Keep QR colors high-contrast for optimal scanning
- Combine admin notifications with drip sequences for fully automated engagement + internal alerts
