Introduction
The Templates module in Brilliance CRM allows you to prebuild and save reusable message layouts for email, SMS, and MMS campaigns. These templates can be inserted into keyword responses, send message workflows, or automation sequences—ensuring consistency and saving time.
How to Get Here
- Go to Communication > Templates
- Click + Add New Template to create one, or Edit to update an existing one
Templates Grid Overview
Each template appears as a row in the grid with the following columns:

Regarding | The organization or campaign this template is tied to |
Template | Internal name for the template |
Description | Purpose or use case |
Email / SMS / MMS | Indicators showing which types of content are configured |
Active | Indicates whether the template is available for use |

You can Export to Excel for documentation or review.
Template Configuration Tabs
When editing or creating a template, you'll see four tabs: General, Mail, SMS, and MMS.
1. General Tab
Field | Description |
Regarding | The company or department this template belongs to |
Template Name | The internal name for this template |
Description | A short summary of what this template is used for |
Notes | Internal notes or usage instructions |
Active (toggle) | Enable to make the template usable in other modules |
Use this tab to label and organize your templates clearly for your team.
2. Mail / SMS / MMS Tabs
Each message type (Email, SMS, MMS) has the same layout and can be configured separately.
Field | Description |
Header | Text that appears at the beginning of the message (like a greeting or subject intro) |
Body | The main content of the message (HTML, plain text, or promotional content) |
Footer | Text that appears at the end (such as disclaimers or unsubscribe links) |
You can fill out one, two, or all three message types, depending on where the template will be used.
💡 Example:
- Mail might include full HTML content
- SMS would be a short-form version
- MMS could include media links or promos with an image-based approach
Expected Result
Once saved and active, templates become selectable in:
- Keyword response templates
- Send Messages module
- Automations (future versions)
